6 Pakistani Officials Suspended After Taking Selfie With Corona Positive Colleague

In Pakistan, 6 officers have been suspended after taking a selfie with their colleague suffering from Corona virus. It has been told in the media report that these officers were taking selfies with a colleague who came positive in coronavirus infection in medical tests.

The number of people caught in the corona virus epidemic in Pakistan has reached 750. Dawn News report said that the deputy commissioner of Khairpur district suspended 6 revenue officers posted in different areas for taking a selfie with his colleague. The person with whom the officer was taking selfies was found to be Corona virus positive.

The man, who was found corona positive, had recently returned from Iran. One officer said on the condition of confidentiality that he was taking a selfie due to goodwill with his colleague who returned from Iran on pilgrimage. The official said that while taking the selfie was taken and in that period, the person returning from Iran did not show any signs of corona infection nor did he complain about any problems. Later, this picture was posted on social media. But a few days later the person returning from Iran was found to be Corona positive in the test. The officers who took selfies have now been sent to isolation.

Precautions taken in Sindh State of Pakistan

Due to the Corona virus, there are many difficulties in neighboring country of Pakistan too. More than 750 positive cases of Abat Corona have been reported in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing the country said that he cannot declare a complete lockdown of Pakistan, as more than 20 percent of the people here are below the poverty line and they will have a lot of problems. However, Imran also appealed that people try to stay at home on their own.

On one hand, Imran Khan refused to declare the lockdown across the country, while the province of Sindh has imposed a lockdown of 15 days at the state level. In Pakistan, Sindh province has seen the highest number of cases of Corana virus.
