37 New Corona Positives Reported in Odisha, Total Cases Increased to 414

As of Tuesday morning, 37 new cases of corona virus infected have been reported in Odisha. With this, the coronavirus cases have increased to 414 in the state. The Department of Health and Family Welfare said that 29 new cases are from Ganjam district and all these people have returned from Surat, Gujarat. The department said that 17 people were freed from the corona virus infection in the state on Monday and with this the number of people recovering after treatment in the state has increased to 85.

Ganjam has a total of 154 cases of infection and this number is 37.2 percent of the total infected people of the state. Subroto Bagchi, a spokesperson for Covid-19 cases in the state, said, "There is nothing to worry about increasing cases of corona virus infection in the state as most of these cases are related to people who are in isolated centers and only one case is connected to infected area."

Till now 67,535 people of the state have reached here by trains, buses and other means. Meanwhile, the state government has made minor changes in the guidelines of the Center to hospitalize those found infected or keep them in isolation. Additional Chief Secretary P.K. Mahapatra said, "Now we will be able to treat people who have very minor symptoms or who do not have symptoms of infection at home."
