In Maharashtra, a child of just three days has been found to be corona positive. Along with the child, his 26-year-old mother has also been found to be Corona positive. This child was born on 26 March at Chembur Hospital in Mumbai.

The family alleges that the corona-infected patient was first placed on the bed on which Zachara (mother of the newborn) was placed. After which both the newborn and his mother have been shifted to Kurla Bhabha Hospital and then to Kasturba Hospital on Tuesday. It should be noted that, Kasturba Hospital has been made the nodal center for COVID-19 cases in Mumbai.

The family got a glimpse of this when the doctor asked them to get the corona virus checked. He says that no investigation was conducted when mother was admitted to the hospital. She was later admitted to another room.

The newborn's father works as a manager in a restaurant. He is currently kept in Quarantine in Kasturba hospital, where 120 patients are already being treated.

According to experts, it cannot be denied that when the child was born, someone else in the hospital was also infected. Currently, Chembur Hospital is closed and sanitation work is being done there.
