225 New Cases of COVID- 19 Infected Reported in Odisha

Odisha has recorded the highest number of 225 cases of coronavirus infected in a single day and with this, the number of people infected with this deadly virus in the state has increased to 3,723 on Saturday. Giving information about this, a Health Department official said that 196 new cases of infected are related to different quarantine centers where people from many states have been kept. Apart from these, 29 cases are related to people exposed to the infected.

92 NEW CASES FROM CUTTACK DISTRICT

The Health Department official further said that these new cases have come from 16 districts. 92 new cases have been reported from Cuttack district, 20 from Ganjam, and 19 from Khurda district. Preparations for the annual Rath Yatra are going on in Puri and 15 new cases have been reported from there. Apart from these, 15 from Kandaharmal, 13 from Jagatsinghpur, 12 from Bolangir, 9 from Mayurbhanj, 7-7 from Naraingarh and Dhenkanal, 5 from Bhadrak, 4 from Kendrapara, 3 from Kalahandi, 2 from Balasore and one each from Angul and Sundergarh.

TOTAL 10 PEOPLE DEAD SO FAR

Officials said there are currently 1,236 cases of infected in the state and till Friday, 2,474 people have become infection free after treatment. He said that 10 people have died due to infection and the infection was confirmed in 3 more patients but died due to other causes. Let us tell you that with the arrival of migrants in Odisha, there has been a sharp rise in the cases of infected with the coronavirus.
