COVID-19: India Reports 1,59,632 New Corona Cases in Last 24 Hours, Positivity Rate Crosses 10%
India reported 1,59,632 new cases of corona in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 327 people died from Corona. Whereas, 40,863 patients have recovered from Corona and returned to their homes. The daily positivity rate of Corona in the country is 10.21 percent. At the same time, the number of active cases are 5,90,611.
Huge jump in corona cases

A tremendous jump is being registered in the cases of corona since the knock of the new variant of the coronavirus, Omicron in the country. Just a few days ago, where corona cases were close to seven thousand, they have now crossed 1.50 lakh. In just 11 days, an increase of 22 times has been registered in the daily cases of corona in the country. At the same time, the rate of people getting infected has crossed nine percent.
41,434 new cases of corona in Maharashtra
The highest outbreak of corona is being seen in Maharashtra. On Saturday, 41,434 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in the state. Whereas, 13 patients died in the state due to corona. According to the data of the Health Department, the total number of infected in the state has increased to 68,75,656.
4526 new cases of Covid-19 reported in Bihar
On Saturday, 4526 new cases of the coronavirus were reported in Bihar. With this, the number of infected has increased to 7,40,377 in the state. Whereas, the number of patients under treatment has increased to 12,311.

Because of the increasing cases of corona in the state, the Delhi government is preparing to give a booster dose of the corona vaccine. Registration has started for the booster dose of Corona Vaccine.

15 corona cases in Jharkhand’s CM residence
Coronavirus has been entered in the Chief Minister's residence of Jharkhand. 5 people including Kalpana Soren, wife of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, have been found infected. Till Saturday, there was a stir in the CM residence after 15 people were found infected. In a hurry, the entry of outsiders was banned in the Chief Minister's residence. State Health Minister Banna Gupta has also become corona infected.
