Covid-19: 2,527 New Cases of Corona Reported in Last 24 Hours

Covid-19: The number of corona cases in India is on the rise. As many as 2,527 new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours, according to data released on Saturday.

As a result, the number of active cases in the country has risen to 15,079. This is the fourth day in a row that more than 2,000 cases of corona have been reported. The positivity rate remains at 0.56 per cent.

In the last 24 hours, 33 people have died due to corona. According to the news agency ANI, the Ministry of Health has reported that 2527 new cases have been reported in the country while 1656 people have been discharged from hospitals due to recovery.

According to Health Ministry, out of those who have died due to corona virus infection so far, more than 70 percent of the patients also had other diseases.

So far, the total number of corona cases in the country has reached 4,30,54,952. Of these, 4,25,17,724 people have recovered. Thus only 0.03 per cent are active cases. 98.75 per cent of people have recovered after treatment.

A day earlier, 1,024 new corona cases were registered in Delhi, the highest since February 10. Delhi is also at the forefront in terms of positivity rate. There are 4.64 out of every 100 people infected with the corona. In view of the increasing number of cases, wearing a mask has been made mandatory in the capital Delhi.

According to the Health Ministry's website, Delhi has the highest number of 3,253 active cases in the country. It is followed by Kerala (2613), Karnataka (1,637), Haryana (1,632) and UP (1,044). However, Delhi has the highest number of people recovering from the corona.
