Cases of corona infection are increasing rapidly in Uttar Pradesh. In the last 24 hours, 4228 new cases of corona have been reported and 119 people have been discharged after recovery. During this, the number of active cases has reached 12327. A total of 16,88,224 recoveries have been done so far. Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad gave this information.

Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that on Thursday, 2 lakh 19 thousand 256 samples were tested for Covid in the state. 13 crores five lakh three thousand people above the age of 18 years have been given the first dose of the vaccine and more than 7 crores 68 lakh 83 thousand 945 people have been given the second dose.
Amit Mohan Prasad said that 12 lakh 16 thousand 167 children in the age group of 15-18 have been given the first dose. He told that Uttar Pradesh is number one in the country in corona vaccination. More than 21 crore people have been vaccinated here.

Significantly, the central government has reduced the period of home isolation for patients with asymptomatic and mild symptoms of the corona. Now both these categories of patients can finish their home isolation in seven days. It will also be implemented in Uttar Pradesh. Additional Chief Secretary, Medical, Education and Health Amit Mohan Prasad gave this information on Wednesday.
According to the revised guidelines of home isolation, patients without symptoms of corona and patients with mild symptoms can be discharged after being isolated for seven days. After being in isolation for seven days, these patients will not even need to undergo a Covid test again.
More than 1 lakh 16 thousand cases found on Thursday
Corona has created a furore in India. The pace of corona infection in the country is increasing in the same way as it was seen in the second wave of the corona. On Thursday, more than 1 lakh 16 thousand cases of corona infection were reported across the country. The maximum number of cases are in Maharashtra where the number of infected has crossed 36 thousand. More than 20 thousand cases of corona infection have been reported in Mumbai alone. Apart from this, the number of cases is also very high in Kerala, Delhi and Tamil Nadu. In Delhi, the infection rate is more than 15 percent.
