Vehicle Sales Figure Is Up By 15% In July Month

The automobile companies of the country have released the vehicle sales figures for July. Sales of most auto companies increased in July. A total of over 3.24 lakh vehicles were sold in July, which is 15% higher than the July sales of 2021.

This is the reason why auto stocks dominated the stock market on Monday. The Nifty Auto index gained nearly 3%. Maruti and Mahindra's shares jumped along with Tata Motors.

Tata Motors car sales up 51%

Tata Motors sold a total of 81,790 vehicles in the domestic and international markets in July, up 51% from the same period last year. The company's sales in the domestic market grew by 57%.

On the other hand, Maruti sold 1.75 lakh vehicles with a growth of 8.3%, from 1.62 lakh in July 2021. Tata Motors' EV sales figure was the highest at 4022.
