Within 13 days of the formation of the Uddhav Thackeray government in the state, only 25 patients have received funds from the Chief Minister's Assistance Fund for treatment. Financial assistance to patients has started from last three to four days. An official told on the condition of anonymity that so far more than 25 patients have been handed over checks. Patients have been given an amount ranging from 25 thousand to 50 thousand rupees. In this way, a total amount of about 8 lakh rupees has been distributed to the patients.

The official said that during President's rule in the state, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari had ordered that patients should apply to the Ayushman Bharat office in Worli to get benefits from the Chief Minister's aid fund, the same order is still going on. Applications are also being scrutinized in Worli. When will the applications start to be received in the ministry, the official said that when the government orders us, we will start taking applications. He told that Ayushman is our only employee taking applications at the India office.

After taking oath of Chief Minister for the second time and taking over the work in the Ministry, Devendra Fadnavis did the first job of giving a check to a woman from Chief Minister Arogya Nidhi. At the same time, after becoming the Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray had also directed to provide funds from the fund to the patients, but the pace could not come in it.

Fund office was on the seventh floor

The Ministry had the Chief Minister's Aid Fund Office on the seventh floor, where applications of patients were accepted, which is still closed. No one is willing to speak on when it will open. An officer was appointed here, who has returned to his original department after the imposition of President's rule. There is no idea when a new officer will be appointed in his place.
