The people of Madipur, Hastasal and Jwalapuri will no longer have to go far for treatment. The Delhi government will build three new hospitals here. On Monday, the Expenditure Finance Committee of the Delhi Government passed this proposal. The work to build these three hospitals will begin in the next two months. The capacity of beds inside each hospital will be 650 and thus after the creation of all three hospitals, there will be an increase of 1950 beds. Health Minister Satyendra Jain says that our aim is to provide better health facilities to the common people and our efforts are continuously in this direction.

The hospitals will be built at Madipur in West Delhi, Hastasal near Vikaspuri and Jwalapuri in Nangloi. After the construction of these three hospitals, lakhs of people of the area will get the benefit. Now people have to go five-five kilometers away for treatment. After the formation of these hospitals, the pressure will be less than other hospitals of Delhi government. People go to the Guru Gobind Singh Hospital in the area for treatment.

In 2011, OPD of this hospital used to attract 5.5 lakh people, which increased to 6.82 lakh in 2016. Similarly, there was an increase in the patients admitted. The Delhi government says that this is why new hospitals are being built, so that the pressure of patients from old hospitals is reduced and the capacity of beds is increased.
