Sensex Rises 113 Points for Second Consecutive Day on Global Positive Signals

The stock market is seen in green mark for the second consecutive day due to some positive signs between the US-Iran tension. On Friday, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex opened 113 points at 41,585. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty opened with a gain of 56 points at 12,271.

The indices of all sectors are visible in green mark and IT, auto, pharma, metal and banks are leading the gains. For the past one week, the tension between Iran and the US seems to be reducing. At the same time, the first phase of agreement between the US and China is going to be on the trade war front.

Infosys, Bharti Infratel, Kotak Mahindra Bank, TCS, HDFC Bank and HCL Tech were the leading stocks to rise on Friday, while ICICI Bank, Nestle and Asian Paints were the major losers. Rupee was seen flat. The rupee opened at 71.21 against the dollar on Friday, while it closed at 71.21 on Friday.

Significantly, due to global positive news, on Thursday, the Indian stock market saw a glow. At the end of trading, the Sensex gained 634.61 points, or 1.55 percent, to close at 41,452.35 points, while the Nifty gained 190.55 points (1.58%) to 12,215.90 points. During the trading, the SENSEX hit a high of 41,482 points and a low of 41,175 points.

Iran-US Reduce Tension

After Trump's soft stance, the global markets saw an improvement on Thursday. It is considered to be important for reducing tension in West Asia. According to traders, global stock markets saw improvement after US President Donald Trump offered peace to the Iran leadership. Due to this, the attitude of domestic investors was also positive. Trump claimed that no American has been harmed in Iran's attack on US bases in Iraq. Trump has also offered peace to the Iranian leadership. In this soft situation, the price of crude oil also decreased.

Meanwhile, China's Ministry of Commerce said that China's Deputy Prime Minister Liu He would go to New York for a "first phase" trade agreement with the US. The ministry said that Liu will remain in the US from Monday to Wednesday. Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that the new partial trade agreement between the US and China will be signed on 15 January.
