After more than a month, oil companies have increased the prices of petrol and diesel. Petrol in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai has become expensive by 10 paise while in Kolkata it has been nine paise per liter. At the same time, the price of diesel has increased by nine paise in Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai, while in Mumbai it has increased by 10 paise per liter. Let us know that on November 5, the last time a reduction in the price of petrol was recorded. Petrol became cheaper by 5 paise in Delhi, the country's capital. On November 4, diesel became cheaper by 5 paise in Delhi.

According to the website of Indian Oil, petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai have increased to Rs 72.70, Rs 75.41, Rs 78.38 and Rs 75.55 per liter respectively. At the same time, the prices of diesel in the four metros have also increased to Rs 65.84, Rs 68.25, Rs 69.06 and Rs 69.59 per liter respectively.

Earlier, on October 1, 2019, the price of petrol and diesel was increased. Then petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai reached Rs 74.61, Rs 77.23, Rs 80.21 and Rs 77.50 respectively, while diesel was Rs 67.49, Rs 69.85, Rs 70.76 and Rs 71.30 respectively. .

Meanwhile, crude oil prices continue to fluctuate. So far this month, the price of benchmark crude oil Brent crude has increased by more than two dollars per barrel.
