Petrol Crosses Rs. 80 in Mumbai, Check New Rate List

After two days of stability, petrol prices again increased on Friday. Petrol prices have increased by 15-16 paise per liter in the four metros of Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, while there has been no change in the price of diesel.

In the country's financial capital, the price of petrol has reached beyond 80 rupees. This is the first time after seven weeks that petrol in Mumbai has started selling at a price higher than Rs 80. Petrol price in Mumbai was Rs 80.11 per liter on October 3, 2019.

What is New Rate List

According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai has increased to Rs 74.35, Rs 77.04, Rs 80.01 and Rs 77.29 per liter respectively. At the same time, the price of diesel in the four metros remains without any change at Rs 65.84, Rs 68.25, Rs 69.06 and Rs 69.59 respectively. Meanwhile, in the international market, trading was going on softly after two days of rise in the price of crude oil. However, the price is still at a high of about two months.

Benchmark crude oil Brent crude is priced above $ 63 a barrel. Brent crude's January contract on the international futures market Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) was trading at $ 63.61 a barrel, down 0.56 percent from the previous session on Friday. At the same time, American light crude was trading at $ 58.19 a barrel in the January contract of West Texas Intermediate with a decrease of 0.67 percent from the previous session.
