Petrol and Diesel Prices again Increased amid US-Iran Tensions, Know New Rate List

Oil marketing companies on Friday increased the price of petrol by 10 paise in Delhi, seven paise in Kolkata and Mumbai and eight paisa per liter in Chennai. At the same time, the price of diesel has increased by 15 paise in Delhi, 12 paise in Kolkata, 13 paise in Mumbai and 14 paise per liter in Chennai. In these two days, petrol has become costlier by 21 paise and diesel by 29 paise per liter in Delhi.

According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai has increased to Rs 75.35, Rs 77.94, Rs 80.94 and Rs 78.28 per liter respectively. At the same time, the price of diesel in the four metros has increased to Rs 68.25, Rs 70.61, Rs 71.56 and Rs 72.12 per liter respectively.

Tension between US and Iran Increased

Due to this tension, the price of crude oil has gone up by 4 percent. Crude oil was trading at $ 59.70 per barrel in October 2019. At the same time, in November it increased to about $ 63. Similarly, the price of crude oil has reached $ 65 per barrel in December.
