Share Prices for Paytm: One97 Communications, which manages the financial services platform Paytm, rose roughly 4% on Monday after shareholders supported the re-appointment of Vijay Shekhar Sharma as the company's managing director and chief executive officer.

The motion to re-appoint Vijay Shekhar Sharma as Paytm's CEO and Managing Director was supported by 99.67% of shareholders voting at the company's annual general meeting, according to One 97 Communications Ltd, the fintech's parent company, on August 21.

Paytm's shares increased 3.65% to Rs 800.05 today, from the previous closing of Rs 771.85 on the BSE. Paytm shares were trading higher than their 20-day, 50-day, and 100-day moving averages, but lower than their 5-day and 200-day moving averages. However, the stock dropped 41.2% in 2022 but gained 5.64% in a month.

Paytm's market capitalization increased to Rs 50,904 crore on the BSE. A total of 1.05 lakh shares of the company were traded, resulting in an Rs 8.33 crore turnover.

On November 18, 2021, the stock reached a 52-week high of Rs 1,961.05 and a 52-week low of Rs 511 on May 12, 2022.

One97 Communications' consolidated loss increased to Rs 644.40 crore in Q1 June 2022 from Rs 380.20 crore the previous year. Revenue increased by 89% to Rs 1,680 crore in Q1 June 2022 compared to Q1 June 2021.
