Mukesh Ambani Enters World’s 10 Richest People List

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) chairman Mukesh Ambani has joined the list of 10 richest people in the world. Ambani's assets have seen significant growth recently due to the recent global investment in the company's digital wing i.e Jio Platforms and the company's share price has reached record highs. Ambani is ranked 9th in the Forbes real-time list of billionaires. He is also ranked ninth in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Reliance Industries' share price reached a record high of Rs 1788 on Friday. Due to the recent heavy investment in Jio platforms, 63-year-old Mukesh Ambani's total assets reached close to $ 64 billion.

Amazon chief Jeff Bezos tops the list:

Amazon chief Jeff Bezos ranks first in Forbes' top ten wealthiest list. He has assets of around $ 160 billion. This is followed by Bill Gates of Microsoft. Gates has total assets of $ 108.7 billion. Bernard Arnault of France and his family rank third in this list with assets of $ 103.2 billion.

Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg is in fourth place with $ 87.9 billion in assets. Zuckerberg is the youngest in the top 10 wealthiest list. Zuckerberg is just 36 years old. Warren Buffett ranks fifth in this list. Buffett's net worth is estimated at $ 71.4 billion.

7 out of 10 Industrialists in this list belong to US:

American industrialists dominate the list of the world's 10 richest people. Seven of the top 10 industrialists are from the US. Ambani is the only Asian in this list while the top ten wealthy include one industrialist each from France and Spain. Let us tell you that Mukesh Ambani leads India's most valuable company according to information on Forbes website. Ambani has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from University of Bombay.
