Jio Launches 5G Service In Gwalior And Jabalpur, Will Get Unlimited Data For Free

Reliance Jio on Friday launched Jio True 5G service in Gwalior and Jabalpur. With this, Jio True 5G service has been launched in 72 cities of the country so far. Jio has strengthened its 5G network in 2 more cities in view of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and Global Investor Summit being held in Indore, MP.

Jio invested Rs 4420 crore in Circle

Earlier, Jio has also launched True 5G service in Indore and Bhopal. From today Jio users of Gwalior and Jabalpur will be invited under 'Jio Welcome Offer'. Under the Jio Welcome Offer, users will get unlimited data at 1 Gbps+ speed for free. Reliance Jio is now the first operator to provide 5G service in 4 major cities of the state.

5G service in every city by December 2023

Jio said, 'We are happy to launch Jio True 5G in Gwalior and Jabalpur. Jio True 5G will open endless doors of development for the people of MP in e-governance, education, automation, artificial intelligence, gaming, healthcare, agriculture, IT and small scale industries. Jio plans to launch 5G service in every city in India by December 2023.

How to start 5G service on Android phone

  • To enable 5G on Android phone, go to mobile settings.

  • Now go to the network settings of the phone and access the preferred network.

  • Here the option of different networks like 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G will be available.

  • You select 5G in Preferred Networks and exit Settings.

  • When the phone comes in the 5G network, it will switch to its 5G.

42.13 crore users of Jio in the country

Reliance Jio continues to maintain its number one position in the telecom sector. In October, Jio has added 14.14 lakh new users to its network in the country. With this, the number of users of Jio network has increased to 42.13 crore. At the same time, 8.5 lakh new users were added to Bharti Airtel in October. The number of its users has increased to 36.50 crores.
