Gold and Silver Price Hiked with a Little Gain, Know New Rates

Gold prices improved on Friday and rose by Rs 70 to Rs 38695 per ten grams in Delhi Bullion Market.

According to HDFC Securities, silver prices rose as did gold. Silver rose by Rs 172 to Rs 48,400 per kg. Silver had closed at Rs 48,228 per kg on Thursday. Gold rose by Rs 70 to Rs 38,695 per ten gram in Delhi Bullion Market. Gold had closed at Rs 38,625 per ten grams on Thursday.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said the 24-carat gold spot price in Delhi was running at Rs 38,695. Gold is fast due to rupee fluctuations.

In global markets, gold was trading at $ 1,505 an ounce in New York and silver with a gain at $ 18.17 an ounce. Meanwhile, the rupee was trading 26 paise higher at 70.88 per dollar during day trading in the inter-bank foreign exchange market.
