For General Category in Nursery Class it’s Necessary to keep 25% Seats as per EWS Scheme

The process of admission for general category in nursery class has started in private schools of Delhi. However, in Delhi's private schools, it is necessary to keep 25 percent seats for children belonging to the economically weaker and reserved class. The application process for these 25 percent reserve seats of private schools will start in the first week of January.

According to Delhi's Directorate of Education, guidelines for EWS category will be released from December 30 to January 3. The department has set a target to start the admission process around January 1. The department has received the data of empty seats from all the districts of Delhi, the data will be finalized by December 15 and after that there will be preparation to start the process of admission.

To apply for EWS category, applicants will have to go to the official website of the Department of Education, Government of Delhi and submit their details. Parents are not required to attend any school for admission. After filling the form on the Education Department of Delhi Government, the list of admission will also be released on this website. There is no fee for filling the admission form, nor will parents have to pay any fee for the admission.
