The government announced a nationwide shutdown from March 25 to prevent the spread of the corona virus epidemic, this led to lower commercial and industrial demand in April. With the commercial and industrial demand coming down, demand remained low in April this year due to some cold weather and the temperature remained below 40 degree Celsius in the second fortnight of the month. However, during May 4 to May 31, many economic activities took place. This accelerated industrial and commercial demand, apart from this, the demand for electricity also increased due to temperature rising. Experts believe that as concessions increase from June 1, power demand will increase in the coming days.
