Companies now all set to take interviews on Metaverse soon. While new-age Web3 firms are driving the transformation, a few traditional technology companies are also using AR/VR technology to conduct interviews, organize rewards and recognition programs, and engage and bring teams together internally.

According to the firms, it is a means for new hires to experience the technology that these companies are developing, as well as a more immersive and engaging manner to bring people together socially after two years of remote work.

OneAbove a Recruiting Metaverse Platform

Flam, a social metaverse business, has developed OneAbove, a first-of-its-kind walk-in recruiting platform in the metaverse.

The platform will have all of the characteristics of a standard virtual call, as well as an added immersive experience to make it dynamic and engaging for potential workers. The candidate begins the interview by clicking on the platform, entering it, and picking the avatar that best reflects them from over 45 selections.

They will be greeted by an HR professional in a virtual lobby, who will then direct them to the stage where they will introduce themselves to the recruitment panel. Shortlisted candidates will next be invited to separate private rooms for one-on-one interviews with department heads.

Metaverse Platform can Hold a Meeting of 50 Members at a Same Time

The platform, which was built with an investment of roughly $50,000 and a staff of 25, can hold a meeting of 50 people at the same time. "The objective is to offer all walk-in candidates and other job seekers firsthand exposure with the metaverse concept." "We wanted to emphasize that Metaverse is a true value proposition for us, not simply public relations," said Shourya Agarwal, co-founder, and CEO of Flam.
