Bharat Ratna 25-feet tall statue of former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee has reached Lucknow from Rajasthan. This statue will be installed in the Lok Bhavan here. Apart from this, a 12.5 feet statue of Swami Vivekananda will also be installed in the Raj Bhavan. At the same time, in Gorakhpur, the home district of CM Yogi Adityanath, statues of his Guru Mahant Avaidyanath and Mahant Digvijay Nath will be installed.

The statue of Atal Bihari weighs 5 tons. This 25 feet tall statue of Atalji has now reached Lucknow. In this regard, a meeting was held on 11 November under the chairmanship of CM Yogi Adityanath, in which the proposal to install the idols was agreed.

On the other hand, statues of Yogi Adityanath's Guru Mahant Avaidyanath and Mahant Digvijay Nath will be installed in Gorakhpur. The height of these two will also be 12.5 feet. Both these statues will be installed in the educational institution of Gorakhpur. Regarding the installation of the idols, the Directorate of Culture has sought a report on nine points from the DM and SSP of the respective districts.
