Airlines company Akasa Air is starting its first commercial flight on August 7. Aakasa Air's first flight will be from Mumbai to Ahmedabad in a Boeing 737Max plane. The booking of tickets has started for 28 flights that will fly on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route every week from August 7, the company said. At the same time, 28 flights will start operating on the Bangalore-Kochi route from August 13.

"Akasa Air's network plan is centered on creating a strong pan-India presence and connecting metro to tier 2 and tier 3 locations across the country." We began operations with flights between Mumbai and Ahmedabad on the brand-new Boeing 737 MAX.
