Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said on Saturday that she will talk to every bank to ensure the flow of cash. She appreciated the efforts of the bankers in this difficult situation. She said that she will talk to all the states and try to ensure that there is no problem in the movement of cash, bankers, vendors, and bank Mitra. The Finance Minister tweeted sequentially, "Appreciate the service Bank Mitra/Banking Correspondents are undertaking across the country. Will talk to states- request no restrictions in their movements. Will speak to all banks to facilitate cash flow. Let's ensure timely access to all. "

It is noteworthy that the government announced several measures this week. Under this, measures are also included to directly deposit money into the account of the poor, elderly and disabled. The government has taken this step to help those suffering from coronaviruses. Sitharaman said, "The entire banking community deserves recognition and gratitude for continuing banking services even in these difficult circumstances and for the timely and safe service of customers."

Appreciating the efforts of the bank employees, the Finance Minister said, "Bank employees and staff are constantly moving forward in this difficult time. Whether it is to provide cash or to open a branch or some other work. " According to the Indian Banks Association (IBA), 1,05,988 branches of banks opened across the country on Friday. However, the banks are closed on this Saturday and Sunday.
