The former MD and CEO of ICICI Bank, Chanda Kochhar, has been called by the Enforcement Directorate for Mumbai for questioning. ED will question her in the Videocon loan case. ED has also called Videocon to inquire Venugopal Dhoot today.

Significantly, the ED has searched the premises of ICICI Bank's former Chief Executive Officer Chanda Kochhar and Videocon Group promoter Venugopal Dhoot's residence and office premises on Friday.

ED has done this in a case related to bank fraud. Officials said that this raid was conducted in at least five offices and residential premises in Mumbai and elsewhere. The Directorate had filed a criminal case against Kochhar, her husband Deepak Kochhar, Dhoot and others at the beginning of this month under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (Money Laundering Act).
