Mumbai: 'Ishaqzaade' was released on May 11 in 2012. From this film, actors Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra stepped into the film world. Regarding his first release, Arjun says that this film gave him 'confidence'. Arjun said, "On the first day of the shoot, I told myself for the first time in life that I wish it could be done right. And that's what I have tried to do, worked hard and gave it what Habib sir wanted. . When you're making a film you don't think about the result, you just want to work hard every day and do your best in front of the camera".

The actor continued, "But when I finished the film and when I finally saw it, I was shocked that I was able to hold myself in front of the camera." He went on to say, "This feeling gave me confidence, gave me the right opportunities, because of which I would be able to take myself forward as a mainstream commercial hero. At one point of time, confidence is very important to me."

Arjun Kapoor has posted pictures on Instagram of the film along with the original script of the film.

Parineeti Chopra shared a glimpse of the National Award, which she received for the film, on the completion of 8 years of the film 'Ishaqzaade'.
