The powerful social media platform that has erupted between Twitter and the US President has reached a turning point.  Trump on Thursday signed an executive order aimed at increasing government control over regulating social media platforms.  CNN reported that Trump, during a talk at the Oval Office before signing the order, said the move was necessary to protect free speech.  He said that it is one of the most serious threats in American history.

Significantly, after Twitter's two tweets of US President Donald Trump were misleading, he opened the front against Twitter.  President Trump has cautioned that social media platforms are trying to influence the 2020 presidential election.  Recently, American agencies claimed that the Russian President could interfere once again in the 2020 presidential election.  After this, US President Trump has shocked everyone by saying that elections can also be influenced through social media.

Twitter questioned the President's mail-in voting.  Twitter has warned of a fact-check, flagging some of Trump's tweets.  After this, President Trump has targeted Twitter on two consecutive tweets.  In his first tweet he wrote, 'Twitter is now also interfering in the 2020 US presidential election.  Trump said that my statement about mail-in ballots would lead to big corruption and fraud.  this is wrong.  This fake news is based on the fact checking of CNN and Amazon Washington Post.  It is presented as if a sin has been committed.  In another tweet, he said that Twitter is completely attacking our freedom.  He further said that as a President, I will not allow this to happen at all.  This is the first time the social media platform Twitter has warned the US President.  After this warning, Trump said it was against freedom of speech and called it an interference in the US presidential election.
