Donald Trump Sought Xi Jinping’s Help to Win Presidential Elections 2020: Former NSA John Bolton

The former US National Security Advisor (NSA) John Bolton claimed in his book that Donald Trump had sought help from Chinese President Xi Jinping for 2020 presidential election. He has said that Trump and Jinping met at the G20 Summit in Osaka on June 29 last year. During this time, Trump asked him to help in the presidential election.

At the same time, the White House has said that Bolton's book contains many confidential information. The Justice Department has temporarily ordered a ban on the book so as to prevent it from being released. The title of Bolton's book is 'The Room Where It Happened'. Excerpts from this were published on Wednesday in The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal.

The book, published by Simon & Schuster, is scheduled to be available in stores on 23 June. Bolton was sacked by the president last year. Bolton has also made several claims about the impeachment investigation conducted on Trump in his book.
