People are looking to see what will be the competition this time compared to Airtel Jio? Meanwhile, a report has been received that the company is preparing to refresh its services and this time the focus of the company is on premium customers to maintain ARPU.

According to a report by Economic Times, the company is working on an 'Airtel Black' package under its Airtel Thanks program. More premium features will be available in this plan. According to the information received, this package will be made available to customers taking a plan of Rs 999 or more.

The report further states that under the Airtel Black package, customers will be offered a bundle of premium apps, access to OTT platforms, discounts on international roaming, discounts on consumer brands and better content than others. According to the report, through Airtel Black, the company will be able to push lower tier Airtel Thanks users to more premium plans.

Postpaid plans are currently offered by Airtel at an initial price of Rs 499 per month. The base plan offers 3G / 4G data rollover up to 75GB, unlimited local / STD roaming calls, free access to Netflix for three months, free Amazon Prime for one year and Airtel Thanks rewards.

Airtel launched the Airtel Thanks program in October last year. In this, more value added services are given to customers. Under this program, customers are given access to OTT platforms for limited time and exclusive offers are given on phones.
