Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and former Governor Kalyan Singh were cremated with state honors on Monday afternoon at Bansighat in Kenora in Bulandshahr district and Bachha Park in Gandhi Ghat. Many big leaders including Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Smriti Irani, Ajay Bhat, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Uma Bharti were present at the funeral of former CM Kalyan Singh. Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Smriti Irani, CM Yogi, and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya made sacrifices.
His dead body had left for Narora in the afternoon from Mandhauli village of Atrauli. Whereat around 2.16 pm, his body vehicle and the convoy of other ministers. Leaders were received by the Bulandshahr administration at Jargawan, Ramghat at the border of the district.
After this, at around 3 o'clock in the afternoon, the dead body reached the child park. In view of the crowd, tight security arrangements were made by the administration at the ghat for the last rites. Before this, during the last visit, youth BJP leader Vijay Kumar Singh, grandson of Barauli MLA Thakur Dalveer Singh, bowed down on the road in front of Kalyan Singh's Veer Rath at Sadhu Ashram.
