The Rainy Season will Stop from October 5 in Rajasthan

Southwest monsoon may bid farewell to Rajasthan by the end of next week. The weather will remain clear at most places in the state. It may rain in some places. From October 5, the rain activities will stop. After the next 4 days, the winds from the western region will start coming back in the state. Thereafter, there will be a slight increase in temperature.

Anti-cyclonic circulation system will start forming

Jaipur Meteorological Department director Radheshyam Sharma said that according to the current conditions, the effect of western wind will increase in the lower and middle troposphere levels of north-west India after the next 2-3 days. From October 5, an anti-cyclonic circulation system will start forming in the lower levels of the atmosphere.

Under its influence, there will be a decrease in the moisture and rain activities in the state. Conditions will start forming for the withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from some places from October 6. It is expected that by October 10 or 12, the southwest monsoon will completely depart from the state.

17 percent more rain so far

Rajasthan has received 17 percent more rainfall than normal this monsoon so far. According to the Meteorological Department, the entire Rajasthan receives an average of 415 mm of rain in the monsoon season, but this time it has received 485.3 mm of rain. This is 9 percent more than the year 2020. In the year 2020, 449.8MM average water has fallen.

Good rain in East Rajasthan

If we look at the situation in the last 24 hours of Rajasthan, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Dausa, Baran in eastern Rajasthan and Nagaur district of the western region received good rains. The highest 78mm (3 inches) of water fell in Khatoli in the Kota district. Apart from this, 50 in Mandana in Kota, 41 in Jawahar Sagar, Pipalda 29, 75 in Nagaur's Makrana, 22 in Parbatsar, 74 in Sawai Madhopur's Chauth Ka Barwada, 40 in Devpura, 52 in Tonk's Aligarh, 36 in Niwai, Jaipur Kishangarh-Renwal has 38, Phulera 32, Pawta 27, Sambhar 27, Dausa's Ramgarh Pachwara 38, Lalsot 25, Bandikui 24, Churu's Bidasar 28, Chittorgarh's Dungla 29 and Baran district has recorded 24mm of rain.

Monsoon had departed on 6th October last year

Monsoon entered Rajasthan on 24th June last year and farewell on 6th October. For the last 5 years, the monsoon is going away in October. In the year 2020, the average rainfall over the entire Rajasthan was 450 mm. Talking about East Rajasthan, there was 594 mm of rain, which was 2 percent less than normal. Western Rajasthan had received 336 mm of rain.
