If the drivers break the lane system, then they will have to pay the challan. In view of the increasing traffic in Jaipur on the lines of Delhi, it has become necessary to implement the lane system.

Strictly enforced at the bus stands

Transport Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas has directed the officials of the traffic police to ensure that the lane system is strictly enforced at the bus stands and auto stands of the city so that the public vehicles do not create traffic jams without any space.

Transport Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas told Dainik Bhaskar that a plan has been prepared by the department to improve the traffic system by strictly implementing the lane system. This will also prevent accidents. The way buses, autos, and other public transport vehicles stand and wait for the passengers in the curves, turns, or corners on the main road around the bus and auto stands. This creates a traffic jam. A Lane system will be implemented to prevent this chaos.

Ashok Gehlot is also worried about road safety

Vehicles will be challaned for breaking the lane. Singh said that road safety is one of the priorities of the state government. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is also worried about road safety. The Rajasthan government is planning to develop modern technology to reduce road accidents. For this, the members of the Road Safety Council have also been instructed to submit a report on the work. Being done in road safety in other states and Rajasthan.

The Lane system will remain like this

Separate lanes for two-wheelers and three-wheelers, e rickshaws, light motor vehicles including cars, jeeps and heavy vehicle roadways, public transport, minibusses, and private travel buses will be fixed. The footpath area will be kept free for pedestrians. Shopkeepers will not be allowed to encroach or park vehicles on the footpath.

NHAI should be strict on toll companies

Khachariyawas said that due to the negligence of the toll companies, the maximum number of road accidents on national highways in the state is 67 percent. To stop these So the National Highway Authority of India should take strict action against toll companies. The terms and conditions for paying toll operations should also include barricading, installation of lights, and timely repair of highways in the entire area. For this, the Transport Department will write a letter to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.

Khachariyawas said that many bus stands in Jaipur have been built at such a place. Where there is a high possibility of road accidents due to twisting and high traffic load. For this, instructions have been given to the Transport Department, JDA, Municipal Corporation, and Traffic Police to conduct a joint survey. A report will be prepared on points such as whether the bus stand is maintained at the right place, what other steps can be taken to prevent road accidents.

The driver himself should also take responsibility

In the meeting of the State Road Safety Council, several proposals have been taken to reduce road accidents. Pawan Kumar Goel, ACS of School Education said that to prevent road accidents. And drive vehicles according to traffic rules by taking responsibility along with technology. Abhay Kumar, Principal Secretary, Transport Department, said that the cause is being ascertained by looking at the spot reports of road accidents through the Integrated Road Accident Database System.
