Monsoon will be Active again After the Weakening of Cyclone Gulab

The cyclonic storm 'Gulaab' in the Bay of Bengal is not likely to have any significant effect in Rajasthan. The rainy season will start in the districts of Kota, Bharatpur.

The cyclonic storm 'Gulaab' in the Bay of Bengal is not likely to have any significant effect in Rajasthan. After the weakening of this cyclone, the monsoon activities in Rajasthan may once again become active from 29 September. After 3 days, the rainy season will start in the districts of Kota, Bharatpur, and Udaipur divisions of East Rajasthan.

A cyclonic storm will reach the coastal areas of Orissa

According to the Meteorological Department, the deep depression formed in the Bay of Bengal has turned into a cyclone. This cyclonic storm will reach the coastal areas of Orissa and North Andhra Pradesh today and will gradually move towards Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. No effect of this cyclone will be seen in Rajasthan.

Start of the rainy season

On September 27, a low-pressure area system will form in the Bay of Bengal and two days later another new system will form. The effect of these systems will be seen in Rajasthan. In East Rajasthan bordering Madhya Pradesh, this system will start the rainy season, which may start from September 29.

Night temperature reached between 23 to 25 degrees

Due to the rain in Rajasthan in the past few days, there was a slight chill in the weather. Its effect will be seen at night. Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Churu, Ajmer, Nagaur, and some other districts recorded the minimum temperature below 25 degrees Celsius. Whereas Jaipur, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Kota, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ganganagar, and other districts recorded minimum temperatures between 25 and 26 degrees Celsius.

8 percent more rain than normal so far

Due to good rains in Rajasthan so far in September, this time the rainfall was 8 percent more than normal. The state normally receives an average of 519 mm of rain in the monsoon season, but this time it has received 559 mm of rain till September 25. The highest rainfall occurred in Churu district, which has received 62 percent more rainfall than normal, while Kota, Jaisalmer, Baran districts have received 50 percent more rain than normal.
