Kawasaki Ninja 400: India Kawasaki Motor is going to launch the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 in the country very soon, the teaser of which has been released by the company on its social media platform.
The new Ninja 400 will be launched in the next few weeks which was missing from the Indian market after the implementation of BS6 emission norms. Even before this, the Ninja 400 was being made available in limited numbers.
The Ninja 400 that Kawasaki India is about to launch is already on sale in the international market. The bike is powered by a 399 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that generates 44 Bhp of power and 37 Nm of peak torque.
Compared to the old model, the power of the BS6 engine of the new bike has not been reduced, but its torque has been reduced by 1 Nm. The company has equipped this engine with a 6-speed gearbox which comes with a slipper clutch.
Apart from the changes in the engine, the new Ninja 400 is almost identical to the old model. It has been given a Ninja S2-inspired design and styling with sharp lines, twin-pod headlamps and turn indicators on the fairing.
Apart from this, the split seat and 14-litre fuel tank make it even more sporty in appearance. The bike will be offered in two colours - Lime Green with Ebony and Metallic Carbon Gray with Metallic Matte Carbon Grey.
Its estimated ex-showroom price is Rs 5 lakh and it will compete with bikes like KTM RC 390 and Bajaj Dominar 400 in India.
