On April 6th, T Raja Singh, the currently suspended BJP MLA from Goshamahal in Telangana, was arrested by the Telangana Police just before he was due to attend the Hanuman Janmotsav rally.
Raja Singh took to Twitter to share a video in which he criticized the Telangana government.
In his tweet, he wrote, "I was arrested by the Telangana police on the instructions of the (BRS) government, just as I was about to attend the Hanuman Janmotsav rally in my constituency, Goshamahal."
It should be noted that T Raja Singh faced allegations last year of making objectionable remarks about another community, leading to his suspension from the BJP in August 2022.
Recently, on the occasion of Ram Navami, T Raja Singh organized a procession on March 30th, during which he was accused of inciting two communities and disturbing harmony, resulting in a police complaint lodged against him.
Additionally, a complaint was filed against T Raja with the Maharashtra Police for an inflammatory speech he allegedly gave at a rally in Mumbai about two months ago.
