12 TRS MLAs Ready to Join BJP: Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Friday, August 5 claimed that 12 Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLAs are ready to join the saffron party i.e. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

He also claimed that by-polls could be held not only in Munugode assembly but in many seats in the state.

Talking to the media on the third day of his 'Praja Sangrama Padyatra', he claimed that many TRS MLAs are preparing to resign from the ruling party.

Rebellion intensifies against TRS government

The BJP chief also said that many TRS MLAs believe that they have no future in this government.

The rebellion against the TRS government is intensifying. Sanjay Kumar said that the Munugode by-election will decide the future of the state.

According to a recent survey, BJP will win 62 seats if elections are held now, he said.

According to him, the BJP's expected vote share will increase due to the growing public animosity towards the TRS administration.

Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy (brother of Munugode MLA Raj Gopal Reddy) also reacted to speculations of joining the BJP, he said, "Whoever believes in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is welcome to join the party."

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has been fighting against Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) for a long time.

Sanjay said that apart from the Munugode by-election, BJP is also eyeing the assembly districts of the old city.

He also predicted that the party would win the Hyderabad parliamentary seat in the next elections.

BJP chief of Telangana Sanjay said that he will take a break from the Padayatra on August 6 to cast his vote in the Vice Presidential election.
