Gang Violence in Rajasthan: In a shocking incident in the Atalband police station area of Bharatpur, history-sheeter Ajay Jhamri (23) was brutally shot and killed.

Three assailants arrived on a motorcycle, and one of them shot Ajay in the head before fleeing the scene. Ajay had several cases against him prior to this incident.

Two of the three attackers have been identified as Tejveer and Yuvraj, and they are suspected to be involved in Ajay Jhamari's murder.

Further details will be revealed after the investigation. A reward of Rs 25 thousand was already announced on Tejveer.

Intensive Search Operation Launched By Police

According to information from the police, Ajay, a resident of Jhamri village in the Bayana tehsil, had an ongoing feud with Tejveer.

On Sunday evening at 5:30 PM, Ajay was walking from Heera Das Chowk towards Kali Bagichi when he was attacked.

Ajay was critically injured and lay on the road. Shortly after, the police arrived at the scene and transported Ajay to RBM Hospital.

Unfortunately, due to the gunshot wound to his head, he succumbed to his injuries.

Currently, the police have imposed a cordon-and-search operation in the area.

Tejveer's Earlier Attempt on Ajay Jhamari's Life

This incident comes just months after Ajay Jhamri was shot in the leg on May 17th this year. He was with his wife on the way to meet someone near RD Girls College when Tejveer and Hemu fired shots at him.

At that time, the police had registered a case against Tejveer for firing and attempted murder.
