Women Raped Three Times in Moving Train, Mechanical Team Opens the Lock to Nab the Accused

A 30-Year-old woman was raped in a moving train in MP’s Satna district on Sunday night. The woman, however, kept fighting and managed to escape at the end.

The woman boarded a passenger train from MP's Katni and was to travel till Unchehara. As the passenger train halted at the Pakaria Station, a Rewa-bound special train running empty halted at the station.

The woman stepped in the special train’s AC coach to use the washroom. The 22-year-old accused Kamlesh Kushwaha lurked behind her and locked the train. As the train started, he hit her from behind and shoved her.

Raped the Woman Thrice

The woman told the police that, when she resisted, the accused threatened to kill her. During the 40 Km journey to Maihar, the accused raped the woman thrice. The woman also said that, when she was on the passenger train, the accused tried to strike a conversation with her.

As the train halted at Satna, woman pleaded Kushwaha to fetch water as she was thirsty. As soon as the accused stepped down from the train, she escaped from the train and ran into the Railway Police Constable.

Culprit Locked Himself Up

The constable immediately left in the pursuit, seeing the accused get back into the train, the constable went aboard the train. Meanwhile, the 22-year-old accused locked himself up in the AC Coach.

The train was stopped at the Kaima Station, but the train could not be opened, hence Police team stayed in the train, with the culprit locked inside AC coach.

When the train reached Rewa station, a special mechanical team was summoned which opened the gate. Only then the accused could be arrested.
