The cases of love jihad in the country are not taking the name of stopping. Now in Madhya Pradesh's Indore, a boy named Aftab cheated a girl by posing as a Hindu and conspired for love jihad.
The boy first befriended the girl and then forced her to convert. When the girl objected, the accused threatened her to cut into 36 pieces.
In this case, the girl's brother complained to Bajrang Dal members about Aftab. After this, the family members along with Bajrang Dal workers caught the accused Aftab and handed him over to the police after beating him fiercely.
A case has been registered in the Rajendra Nagar police station on the complaint of the victim and her family members.
A student of B Com said that the accused had befriended her about a year ago by calling himself, Rahul. After this, the friendship turned into love. Meanwhile, when the girl came to know his real name, she stopped the conversation.
On this, Aftab allegedly threatened to kill the girl. Aftab threatened the girl that he would chop her into 36 pieces.
Additional Commissioner Rajesh Hingankar said that Aftab is accused of befriending a Hindu girl by hiding his identity.
A case has been registered against the accused. Currently the matter is being investigated.
The incident comes weeks after the gruesome murder case came to light in Delhi in which Aftab Poonawalla, the accused in the case, allegedly killed his live-in partner Shraddha Walker and cut her into 35 pieces. The accused has been arrested by the Delhi Police.
