Recently, a big information has come to the fore, according to which ED has summoned her in the drugs and money laundering case. Enforcement Directorate will interrogate Rakul Preet on 19th December i.e. today.
The actress has been summoned by the ED and has been called for questioning. Earlier in September 2021, she was also questioned in front of the ED in Hyderabad.
For almost 5 years, the phase of investigation and inquiry is going on in this matter. This matter came to light in the year 2017 when drugs worth Rs 30 lakh were recovered from a musician Calvin Mascarenhas and two others.
In this case, apart from Rakul Preet Singh, actors like Charmy Kaur, Tanish, Nandu, Tarun, Ravi Teja and Rana Daggubati have been questioned
So far 11 chargesheets have been filed registering 12 cases. There are 8 people involved in drug smuggling and all are lower-level smugglers.
Apart from this case, the actress has also been questioned in Sushant Singh Rajput's drug angle, but none of her allegations were proved in this case.
If we look at the work front of the actress, she will be seen in Chhatriwali. In this film, she will be seen in the role of a condom tester.
Apart from this, she is also doing a film with Bhumi Pednekar and Arjun Kapoor.
