According to the weather department, Delhi-NCR will face severe heatwave conditions for the next three days. During this period, daytime temperatures could reach up to 48 degrees Celsius.

Additionally, not only afternoons but also nights in Delhi are expected to be warm, with minimum temperatures potentially reaching 31 degrees Celsius this week.

Today, the highest maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 48.8 degrees Celsius in Mungeshpur, 48.6 degrees in Najafgarh, 48.4 degrees in Narela, and 47.6 degrees in Pitampura.

According to the IMD, Delhi's maximum temperature is expected to range between 43 and 46 degrees Celsius throughout the week, while the minimum temperature will likely be between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius. The weather department predicts a change in Delhi's weather on May 31.

The IMD forecasts light rain in Delhi on May 31 and June 1. However, this rainfall is unlikely to provide any relief to Delhi residents from the scorching heat, as no significant drop in temperature is expected despite the rain.

Noida Weather

The weather department has also issued a heatwave alert for Noida, adjacent to Delhi, until May 29. During this period, the daytime temperature in Noida could reach up to 45 degrees Celsius.

According to the IMD, throughout the week, Noida's maximum temperature is expected to range between 42 and 45 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to be between 28 and 29 degrees Celsius.

Weather Outlook for Gurugram

Gurugram is experiencing severe heat these days. According to the weather department, the daytime temperature in Gurugram could reach up to 47 degrees Celsius this week.

IMD forecasts that Gurugram's maximum temperature is expected to range between 44 and 47 degrees Celsius throughout the week, with minimum temperatures likely to be between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius.
