Kejriwal on Bulldozer Action: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal gave information about the encroachment by holding a press conference on Monday. He said that BJP can run bulldozers on the shops or houses of 63 lakh people of Delhi.
This will be the biggest destruction of independent India. He said that we are against encroachment but this method is wrong. They want to destroy all the slums of Delhi.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that before the elections, the BJP had said that the people of the unauthorized colonies would be given ownership rights.
He had said that where there will be a slum, a house will be built and given. Now after the elections, they have come to break every one. This is not true at all.
We are also against encroachment. We also want Delhi to be beautiful. But not by making 63 lakh people homeless.
Arvind Kejriwal said that BJP was ruling in the municipal corporation for 15 years. What did they do in 15 years? In 15 years, he did a lot of encroachment and earned money.
Now his term is over. This term is ending two days later on May 18. Everyone knows that after the elections, the BJP government is going from MCD and now the government of the Aam Aadmi will be formed here.
We want to assure that this problem will be resolved after our party comes to MCD. We are building houses for the slum dwellers. They will get their house.
The Chief Minister of Delhi further said that BJP is saying that it is going to remove all encroachment from Delhi. We are also against encroachment. We also do not want there to be an encroachment.
Delhi has not been built in a planned way in 75 years. If 80% of Delhi is under encroachment, will 80% of Delhi be broken? He said that it is not right to destroy people's houses by running a bulldozer. We strongly oppose this.
