A woman in Bihar's Muzaffarpur has filed an FIR against her husband for refusing to engage in physical relations. The police station has named the husband, along with six others, in the FIR.

The police have now initiated an investigation into the matter. The victim resides in a village in the Lalganj police station area of Vaishali district, while the accused husband hails from the Ahiyapur police station area.

Victim Narrates Two-Year Ordeal in FIR

In the FIR registered at the police station, the victim stated, "I got married on May 31, 2021. After the wedding, I went to my in-laws' house. My husband did not establish physical relations with me for two years after the marriage. At that time, I informed my in-laws about it. However, they also did not explain it to my husband.

Then the victim told her husband, 'Why don't you establish relations?' But he often abused and beat her while arguing. Not only that, upon hearing about her intention to go to her parents' house, he would threaten, 'If you step out of the house, I will kill you and your entire family.'

Somehow, by making an excuse of her grandfather's ill health, she managed to save her life and returned to her parents' house. Even now, the husband and in-laws are continuously threatening her.

Police Investigation Underway

Female Station House Officer informed that an FIR has been lodged in this case and further action is underway. In her statement, the victim woman revealed that her husband never established a husband-wife relationship after marriage.

Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, no solution was reached. Eventually, filing an FIR became necessary. Alongside her husband, all the named individuals exerted pressure on the victim instead of trying to make the husband understand.

Meanwhile, the police have initiated an investigation into the case based on the woman's complaint under sections 341, 323, 498A, 379, 504, 506, 34 of the IPC.
