The men in the green side started the ODI Asia Cup 2023 with a bang on their home ground. Babar and his men were favorites to win this game which was played against an inexperienced team like Nepal.
First, the batters of Pakistan dominated the game and in the end the bowlers also joined the party.
The skipper of Pakistan, Babar Azam scored a match-winning 151 runs and Iftikhar Ahmed also slammed a wonderful century to his name.
The men in the green side were in a tricky position as they lost four wickets for just 124 runs on the board. Then Azam and Ahmed shared a partnership which got them to a mammoth score. They added 214 runs.
