IPL 2023 Opening Ceremony: The stage is prepared for the 16th season of the Indian Premier League which will begin today.
The inaugural ritual is scheduled to commence at approximately 6:00 p.m. IST on March 31, followed by the contest approximately half an hour later. Over 52 days, 70 league-stage contests will be played across 12 locations.
The appearance of renowned Bollywood vocalist Arijit Singh is one of the highlights of the IPL 2023 Opening Ceremony.
Tamannaah Bhatia, Rashmika Mandanna, Tiger Shroff, and Katrina Kaif will also perform at the maiden IPL 2023 gala.
The show will be free to watch live on the JioCinema Streaming app.
For the star-studded opening event, the two gifted actors will be accompanied by star singer Arijit Singh.
When Tamannaah was questioned about the opening performance, she said, "The chance to perform with Arijit Singh and Rashmika Mandanna is something that I am looking forward to."
Celebrities will perform at Ahmedabad's largest cricket venue, Narendra Modi Stadium, during the grand opening event.
The event will take place before the first match of the season between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Kings.
Following the opening ritual, the Gujarat Titans, headed by Hardik Pandya, will face the Chennai Super Kings, captained by Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Following the opening ceremony, the toss for the IPL 2023 season opener will take place at 7:00 pm IST, with the match scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm.
The live broadcast of the tournament will be accessible on Star Sports and JioCinema.
