The T20I format is the latest and most fast-paced form of cricket. The followers of the gentlemen's game love and enjoy watching the shortest format.

India won the first-ever T20 World Cup competition in 2007 in South Africa. But since then, the Blues are searching for their second T20 WC title.

Despite organizing the best franchise league tournament worldwide, the Indian Premier League (IPL), the men in blue have not won the title after 2007.

They reached the finals of the 2014 edition and they have been ending the tournament as the semi-finalist as well. Somehow India hasn’t found that groove to lift the title once again and they have not won any ICC title since 2013.

The team did well in the T20 International format series, and India hasn’t lost any T20I format series this year. Under Rohit Sharma, The Blues also won the most matches in 2022.

But still, they didn't use that form in the events like Asia Cup 2022 and T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. they played more T20Is this year than the other two formats.
