Haryana's Narnaul court will sentence the famous gangster Vikram alias Papla Gurjar in the Bimla murder case today. Narnaul's Additional District and Sessions Judge Sudhir Jeevan's court is likely to pronounce the verdict later in the afternoon. A day earlier, the court had convicted Papla. Bimla was killed 6 years ago by Papla Gurjar with 23 bullets. He was lodged in Ajmer's High-Security Jail in the case of Bimala's murder and was shifted to Naseebpur Jail in Narnaul on September 29. Papla's lawyer Kuldeep Singh gave this information.
Advocate Ajay Chaudhary of the victim's side told that there will be a debate on Tuesday whether Papla Gurjar should be hanged or life imprisonment. Only after that, the court will give its decision. According to Ajay Choudhary, Papla has been convicted on the basis of the postmortem report of FSL, Bimla, and the testimony of Bimla's brother-in-law Dudaram, who was present at the spot. In the FSL report, along with 23 bullets being fired at Bimla, it was revealed that two weapons were used. One 9MM pistol and the other country-made pistols were removed from his body.
Bimla, a resident of village Khairoli in Mahendragarh district, was shot dead on August 21, 2015, in the village itself. Bikram alias Papla, the gangster of his village, was accused of killing Bimala. A case was registered against him in Mahendragarh Sadar police station under 148, 149, 302, 120B and Arms Act. He was also arrested by the police, but on September 5, 2017, during the court appearance, Papla's accomplices took him away by firing indiscriminately. A policeman was also killed in this firing.
According to Ajay Choudhary, counsel for the aggrieved party, Bimla was present at her house on the night of August 21. At 12 o'clock in the night, apart from Papla, his 6 other accomplices had killed Bimla by shooting 23 bullets. 6 accused in this case were acquitted on 12 April 2018 on the benefit of the doubt, while Papla has now been convicted. According to Advocate Ajay Choudhary, Bimla was murdered because she refused to take a decision on the murder of her father Shriram and son Sandeep. Papla was also involved in both these murders.
Papla was arrested on January 28 this year by the Special Police Force of Rajasthan from Kolhapur in Maharashtra. Since then he was lodged in Ajmer's High-Security Jail. In the 6-year-old Bimla murder case, Papla's lawyers filed an application in the Narnaul court and appealed to bring Papla on production warrant. The court accepted the application and ordered it to present it in the court on September 29. On September 29, after the appearance, ASJ Sudhir Jeevan ordered to shift Papla to Naseebpur jail.
Apart from Haryana, many criminal cases are registered against Papla Gurjar in Rajasthan also. This wanted miscreant of Haryana Police was detained by the Behror police station of Rajasthan with a hefty amount during the checking on 6 September 2019. But at that time the police had failed to recognize Papla. He was kept in the lock-up of Behror police station as a common miscreant. On the same day in the morning, Papla's accomplices had freed Papla from police custody while attacking Behror police station with AK-47.
