Now you will not have to go to the Aadhaar center to update your mobile number in Aadhar card. Now this work will be done sitting at home through postman. India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) and Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) have signed an agreement for this. Under this, the postman will update the mobile number given in the Aadhar card. This service will be available through 1.46 lakh postmen and Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) working in a network of 650 India Post Payments Banks established across the country.
For this, smartphones will be given to the postmen, for this purpose the postal department is giving hi-tech smartphones to the postmen. In this, with the help of special software app, you will be able to update your mobile numbers in Aadhar card. For this, the postmen have been given proper training. Trained postmen will update the Aadhar card from door to door.
IPPB's Managing Director and CEO J Venkataramu said on Tuesday, "UIDAI's mobile update service through the wide network of post offices, postmen and GDCs will enable the service to be available even in areas where services of banks are not available." IPPB is currently providing only mobile update service. It will also start enrollment service of children through its network very soon.

To update your mobile number in Aadhaar, you need to visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra. You can update your mobile number in Aadhaar card by filling a form at Aadhaar Seva Kendra and paying a fee of Rs 50. It does not require any kind of document. Let us tell you that till March 31 this year 128.99 crore Aadhaar cards have been issued to the people of the country.
