Pilot Released from Custody of UP Police, Not Allowed to go to Lakhimpur Kheri

Sachin Pilot and Acharya Pramod Krishnam have been released by the UP Police after overnight detention. Sachin Pilot was brought to the Delhi-UP border by the UP Police early in the morning. Pilot and Acharya Pramod were not allowed to go to Lakhimpur Kheri to meet the farmers. Sachin Pilot and Acharya Pramod Krishnam were detained by the UP Police in Moradabad on Wednesday evening for breaking Section 144. Both the leaders were kept in the guest house after being taken into custody. Then late night left from Moradabad to Delhi border.

Police let him go after the workers shouted slogans

Sachin Pilot has reached Delhi after being released from the custody of UP Police. The pilot had left for Lakhimpur Kheri yesterday via the Ghazipur border with Acharya Pramod. First, he was stopped by a truck at the Ghazipur border, later the police let him go after the workers shouted slogans. So In Moradabad, Sachin Pilot was stopped from going forward and was taken into custody.

Leaving the Tonk tour in the middle, went to Delhi

Sachin Pilot had reached Delhi yesterday morning, leaving a two-day tour of Tonk in the middle. So he had left for Sitapur with Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam by road from Delhi airport. Earlier Sachin Pilot was in the delegation of 5 leaders going to Lakhimpur with Rahul Gandhi. However, Citing Section 144, Rahul Gandhi made a strategy to take only Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel along. Due to this change at the last moment, Sachin Pilot decided to go to Lakhimpur Kheri by road.

Pilot targets UP government

Sachin Pilot targeted the UP government and BJP by tweeting. Pilot wrote – By crushing democracy and constitutional values, the BJP government of Uttar Pradesh has hurt the democratic system of the country. We will continue to raise our voice for justice by following the path of Satyagraha.
