Tragic Accident in Mizoram: Mizoram witnessed a tragic incident on Wednesday as under under-construction railway bridge collapsed, resulting in the loss of at least 17 labourers' lives.
According to officials cited by the news agency PTI, this incident occurred at 10 a.m. in Sairang, approximately 21 kilometres from the state capital, Aizawl.
During the incident, around 35 to 40 labourers were working on the bridge. The bridge was being built over the Kurung River, connecting Bairabi to Sairang. The administration has initiated a rescue operation.
